Dehumidifying and Ventilating a Garage

I am looking at replacing the mechanical systems on my house and plan on conditioning the garage as well. I was considering an ERV and whole-house dehumidifier for the living area.
The basement garage needs to be dehumidified and ventilated as well but I am also aware that you don’t want the living area & garage air systems mixing.
The garage will have its own mini-split system, but I was wondering if it would have to have its own separate dehumidifier & ventilation system as well or if there is a more practical way to approach that additional level of conditioning?
