Hi all, I’m looking for a builder in the Houghton, MI area who can build a high-performance net-zero(ish) house on the shores of Lake Superior. I have designs from an architect (who does passive house and net-zero designs), but the builder I had lined up bailed when his HVAC sub would do it because it called for a heat pump and not a furnace. Ugh.
Any suggestions on associations for me to contact to find the right builder would be appreciated.
