   Michael,
   What do you mean by "recycling"? Does that mean:

   (a) Leaving it right where it is?

   (b) Removing it and using it for another purpose like building concrete forms?

   (c) Delivering it to a recycling center where it can be ground into chips and used for other purposes?

   Martin,
   Thanks for responding. By recycling I mean using it as sheathing on new construction. The plywood is in okay shape and was carefully removed. Even so actually reusing it makes me nervous. I would probably use it on the new garage.

   Michael,
   用你的常识。如果胶合板dry and sound, with no soft spots or evidence of rot, I don't see any reason why it can't be reused.

   Thanks again Martin. I guess my common sense knows so little about how nailing patterns and stresses work on plywood sheathing, that I'm nervous trusting it.

   Michael, you... don't trust the plywood. You, should not use it. Build a shed with it or put it at the street marked "free" or sell it on Craigslist, though that site scares me far more than used plywood.

   Thank you both. We've decided to use it on the rake eaves, porch roof, and other spots we deem less demanding (there may be a shed or two as well).
