Solar panel in New Brunswick
I am building a new house and barn next year in New Brunswick, Canada. I am looking into putting solar panels on the barn which will be facing South. New Brunswick has a net metering system where you get credit for the extra power produced. Anyone know if we have enough sun here to justify the solar investment?

A Google search for "New Brunswick insolation" tells me that most of NB gets about 4kWhr/m2 per day average over the year. That's about the same as most of the United States. At that level it certainly can make sense financially. What really makes a difference is the various government programs and credits. But you get enough sun.
