ERV位置

elite_comfort| Posted inGeneral Questionson

Hey all, have a quick question.
Can a Panasonic ERV be installed next to a return for the air handler?
The location of air coming indoors is opisite the return.
Working in a very limited space in the hallway.
Thanks

    Elite,
    Q. "Can a Panasonic ERV be installed next to a return for the air handler?"

    A. Yes. If the ERV introduces fresh air to your house, the fresh air will still be indoors, even if some of it is sucked up by the return-air grille of your heating and cooling system.

As you may already know, a Panasonic ERV is already a compromise appliance -- it doesn't allow you to duct the supply and exhaust to different rooms.

Martin, true, unless it's the newer Panasonic Intelli-Balance 100 ERV, which is a fully ducted system and could be installed as desired.
