Fastening House Wrap to Insulated Concrete Form Assembly

What is your final wall assembly going to look like? Is the housewrap temporary or will it be part of the final assembly?
Well it was going to be temp since local inspector doesn’t require it but if I’m going through the effort I might as well leave it on and flash the window openings when I’m ready. Henry makes a 6month uv wrap so that should buy me enough time given it’s heavily shaded and wintertime here.
What kind of siding were you planning over the foam, and how were you planning on attaching it?
Hardie lap&panel over rainscreen. Might incorporate a little bit of metal
I would use the rainscreen to hold the housewrap then.
Yeah, I was hoping for a quicker install to be able to do rainscreen later but it looks like that's going to be the ticket. Thanks!!

Does the IRC have a prescriptive requirement for cladding installation on above grade ICF walls? If so, does it include a second plane of protection (house wrap?)
I recently contacted an ICF manufacturer regarding the above question, and for hardie type siding on low rise residential construction they say the building needs a rain screen but the house wrap is not necessary. And the battens need to be screwed, not nailed, as the plastic inserts may shatter if nailed.
Thoughts?
