Mitsubishi Lossnay ERV

Kevin Camfield| Posted inGreen Products and Materialson

Does anyone have any experience or know anything about the Mitsubishi Lossnay ERV’s. We are looking to have a partially integrated HRV/ERV system with the supply air passing through the distribution ducts. We are going to be using a Mitsubishi air handler. Their smallest Lossnay unit, the 300, is a little big for us and I can’t tell if they have a boost function available or what the operating modes might be. The sound ratings look good.

    Kevin,
Mistubishi Lossnay heat recovery ventilators and ERVs have been sold under a variety of names over the years. The most recent distributor / manufacturer to sell these appliances in the U.S. is Soler & Palau, a company with headquarters in Barcelona.

Formerly brand names for these appliances include: Altech Energy, NewAire, Mitsubishi Electric Air Tech America, and Renewaire.

Hey Martin, I just wanted to give you a quick compliment. Your quick and detailed responses are much appreciated, as is the Green Building Advisor blog in general. It's an incredible resource for those on the leading edge of building science.

In this day and age of fake news and ignored science, it's extremely refreshing to have such an incredible resource at our disposal. Thanks for all you do!
