Automatic water shut off system
I am planning to install an automatic shut off with sensor on a second-floor washing machine. During my product search, I came across several whole-house systems that instead shut off the water close to where the service enters the building. Most of these systems use wireless or hardwired sensors to signal a leak and activate the control valve. However, the Flo system uses AI to create a profile of water consumption in the home. The AI looks for water flow and pressure variations (my interpretation) in the main line to detect leaks. There are no remote sensors, and the system claims to be able to detect hidden pinhole-sized leaks by monitoring the main service line.
Has anyone tried Flo or a similar system? Would you trust it to prevent damage, or go with a more traditional type of leak-detection setup?
