Flanged window flashing

Joe Norm| Posted inGeneral Questionson

If I was using Zip System and their liquid applied flashing, how would I make a bank (or a single) of windows air and water tight.

I understand the liquid gets applied to the opening, window gets installed, but then what is the treatment around the flange to seal it from air and water?

I am sure loads have already been written about this. feel for to join me in the direction of those articles.

Thanks

    Joe,
The instructions are provided by Huber. Here is the link:Installing a flanged window using Liquid Flash.

    Hi Joe -

If you have not used the ZIP Stretch tape, you might want to consider this approach; pretty amazing product for sill flashing.
