Sill pans

We have used Huber liquid flash to cover all of our window and door openings. Still as a belt and suspenders approach I would led like to have a sill pan. I’ve looked at jamsill but we are worried about the pvc cement interacting with the liquid flash and our huber rep couldn’t tell us if this is ok. Of course he suggested their flex tape. Does anybody have any thoughts or recommendations? I do not believe they sloped the openings. Would I be ok with just a foam backer rod?

Josh, most high performance builders are now using flexible sill pans. Huber's products are very good, as are Pro Clima Extoseal, Tyvek Flexwrap and many other options. It's a good idea to add a slope (wood clapboards are good for this) and/or a backdam. Personally I think the backdam is the more important of the two. Backer rod is open-cell foam and should only be used as a backer (go figure) for caulking or other sealant. Plenty of builders are using liquid flashing, and there's no reason to think that it wouldn't work just as well.
